Geomembrane with surface texture
Challenge: A client was having excessive scrap during its texturization of its PE liners using pressurized Nitrogen.Solution: Axipolymer engineered a custom PE-based low pressure foaming agent for the client. Results: Created the textured liners with significantly lower scrap (almost zero), low maintenance requirements, homogeneous morphology and cost-effective product.
High Performance Film with a 3-layer line
Challenge: A film supplier with having only 3 layer extruders had received a request to supply a recyclable PE based aroma barrier pouch for its client. Having merely 3 layer line, it seemed impossible to produce the required film. Solution: Axipolymer designed a material to be processed on their 3-layer line with no need to tie layers.Results: A recyclable structure was produced on their line and laminated to a print web to create the requested type of pouch. The pouch had the APR recogition for recyclability.
PE pipe in contaminated areas
Challenge: A client faced excessive issue in transporting potable water through contaminated areas. Solution: Axipolymer developed a custom blend utilizing X-bar technology.Results: Achieved an improved chemical barrier PE pipe, enough to block contaminations out of transporting liquid without sacrificing performance requirements.

Challenge: A bottle manufacturer had an issue incorporating the PCR in thier chemical barrier bottles.Solution: Axipolymer engineered a specialty grade of a barrier material from PCR source to be used in this critical application.Results: Delivered a solution that fulfilled the 40% PCR content requirement in their market.
